Having never fished or hunted with a guide in 50 years outdoors, I was a little apprehensive about the trip. Robert provided great instruction in a very friendly, patient, and reassuring manner.

He wanted me to get my very first steelhead trout every bit as much as I did. He worked hard at it, and the results showed. My partner and I caught seventeen fish in two days!

I have been fishing with Robert for the past 6 or 7 years. We have a group that returns each spring and fall to pursue steelhead on the Rogue and Umpqua rivers.
